We are saddened to report that Marie Verschoor passed away on 9th April. Marie and Rob have been members of REBUS for 15 years.
Marie was a keen member of The Warblers Singing Group. Marie and Rob have regularly attended REBUS meetings, and have been on many visits over the years. Members of the Walking Group appreciated their company most Wednesday mornings.
Marie's funeral is to be held at midday on Monday 14th April, at 12 noon, at the Guardian Funeral Home, 4 Moorefield Road Johnsonville.
Our sympathy is extended to Rob, and to Marie and Rob's family.
It is sad to report that Sheila Williams passed away on 31st March 2025.
Sheila was a member of REBUS for 20 years, and served on the Committee for three terms from 2010 to 2019 in three different roles. She served as President, Newsletter Editor and the Almoner.
Sheila joined in every aspect of REBUS. She was always one of the first to put her name down for any trip or visit, was a member of various groups, including a Dine Out group, the Walking Group, and a Book Group.
Sheila will be greatly missed.

New Interest Group
Planes, Trains and Automobiles
A new interest group called “Planes, Trains and Automobiles” has been started.
There will be discussions about historic, current and future technologies and the group will have visits to place of interest.
The group meets at 10 am on the third Thursday of the month.
