Pradip Manchanter gave the 10 minute talk in February. It was fascinating to hear all about his life. Especially his Beginning, and Early Years in India. Then his Middle and Golden Years in New Zealand.

At the November meeting Navina Clemerson, talked about her book “There was a Garden in Nuremberg.” Her book is a fictional work, based on the story of her family and Nuremberg before WW2. Historical photos of Nuremberg were shown, as well as photos of Navina’s family taken before the war. Her book mentions the complete destruction of the Nuremberg Synagogue, and the effects of the Nazi regime on the Jewish community. Navina's book can be purchased from Unity Books.

At the September meeting Helen Kennard (right) gave the Ten Minute Talk and Kelly Fox was the speaker, talking her Facebook page and Traffic Control in the Wellington and Kapiti area.
Kaye McKinlay was welcomed into REBUS membership by the President, Nick Lambrechtsen. at the August Meeting.
At the August meeting David Hutton gave the Ten Minute Talk and Sue Barker was the speaker, talking about the Charities Commission.

Sally Chrystall and Joanne Greenlees were welcomed into REBUS membership by President Nick Lambrechtsen at the June Meeting.
At the June meeting Murray Major gave a Ten Minute Talk about his 30 years as a Telecommunications Engineer with the New Zealand Post Office and later Telecom.
The speaker at the May meeting of The REBUS Club of Khandallah, was the Club’s President, Nick Lambrechtsen. His talk was entitled “The Longest Floating Bailey Bridge of World War II.”
Nick’s father, Constant Lambrechtsen van Ritthem, a civil engineer, and then Captain Ted Hunt (British Royal Engineers) designed the bridge.
In May 2022, Nick flew to the Netherlands to represent his father at the unveiling of two monuments to commemorate this bridge. Also present was Ted Hunt, who had retired as a Major. He was 102 years old.
