Sue Day spoke at one of our previous meetings about her quilting interest. She would be happy to hold a beginner quilting group at her house. Sue has been quilting for over 40 years and has a great interest in teaching the basics of a wonderful hobby.

Quilts can be made using new or recycled fabrics. Everyone needs to start with the basics and Sue is happy to show them to a group. All anyone interesting in learning to quilt would need is their own sewing machine - an older one is quite suitable as quilting does not need any fancy stitching. You would not need to bring it as Sue has a spare one. Tuesday or Friday mornings will suit Sue, who suggests the group could perhaps be held fortnightly.
